Free Online MySQL 8.0 Sakila (ReadOnly) Playground

Current database engine: MySQL 8.0 Sakila (ReadOnly) (mysql80_sakila)

A read-only MySQL 8.0 (8.0.46) database preloaded with Sakila, the classic sample database of a DVD rental business: 1,000 films, 200 actors, 599 customers, 16,044 rentals and 16,049 payments, with stores, staff, inventory, categories, languages and addresses. Views such as film_list, customer_list and sales_by_film_category are included.

Sakila is a good dataset to practice joins, grouping, subqueries and window functions on realistic relations (film, film_actor, inventory, rental, payment). The data cannot be changed here; to create your own tables use the empty MySQL 8.0 playground.
